This weekend marked the wedding of one of my best friends in the world, and it couldn’t have been any more fun. The bride and groom know how to have a good time, and their energy came through in every detail of the celebrations, held at a summer camp in the North Carolina mountains.
After these celebrations, I’m fully sold on summer camps as wedding venues – the guests stayed in cabins, ate meals together in the dining hall and spent afternoons playing in the lake and ziplining through the forest. Even though every muscle in my body is now aching (thanks to a few launches off the blob into the lake), it was well worth it. And the wedding itself was beautiful – navy details accented with sunflowers, rustic yet chic charm and an absolutely stunning couple.
