Weekend Details

Traipsing around an urban farm in most inappropriate shoes (details on this look later this week)

I’ve recently found myself falling into the pattern of low-key weekend/anything-but-low-key weekend, and in keeping with that pattern, the past couple of days were very, very laid back. My dude’s out of town so I spent time solo-lounging on the couch, hanging with the cutest of 18-month-olds and going on super long walks. Other highlights were Sunday night sushi with ladyfriends and contemplating the next big exploration – any suggestions for a January vacation? Only requirements: warm and off the beaten path.

It’s that time again … where to next?

Dog day cravings

There was about a split second while I was putting together this post in which I thought about posting a bunch of pre-fall awesomeness reminiscent of crisp autumn days, cider and football games, but then I came to my senses. Let’s be honest – a., it is about a million degrees out and will remain so for the foreseeable future; b., I hate football; and c., summer will always be my number one fave and I’m gonna fo sho hold onto that for as long as I can. So in light of all that, some late-summer dog-day finds – enjoy!
